Moreover, if you add maintenance services you can get a greater discount. And with no minimum duration!
If you are not yet an Endesa customer, you can receive a direct discount on your energy bill. The more products you combine with Endesa, the more discount you will receive on your bill:
- If you contract electricity or gas, you can save €240 (1) over two years.
- If you combine electricity and gas, you will save €560 (2) in two years.
However, if you add maintenance to your electricity and/or gas contract with Endesa, the direct discount on your bill can be even greater:
- If you contract electricity and gas, together with electricity maintenance, you will save €610(4) over two years.
- If you contract electricity and gas, together with gas maintenance, you save €620(5) in two years.
What should I know about Endesa rates?
The price may be updated on 1 January each year by the value of the actual CPI (last General Year-on-Year Consumer Price Index officially published at the time of the update), as well as for variations in the current regulated components that apply to electricity and gas supplies, and with possible new changes that may be approved by regulation.
In case of updating with the value of the CPI, the year-on-year CPI for November, published on the website of the National Institute of Statistics (https://www.ine.es/) will be used. The update will be made by adding to the previous prices the result of multiplying the CPI by those prices. For more information, the year-on-year CPI for November 2023 was 3,2%, the year-on-year CPI for November 2022 was 6,8%, the year-on-year CPI for November 2021 was 5,5%, the year-on-year CPI for November 2020 was -0.8% and the year-on-year CPI for November 2019 was 0.4%.
Any changes in the regulated components applicable in the contract (upwards or downwards) will be transferred to the customer. These modifications are regulated, they are totally beyond Endesa's control and apply equally throughout Spain and to all companies.
The price may also be reviewed one year after contracting. If there were any changes, we would let you know one month in advance. Always remember that at any time you can terminate the contract or contract another tariff from Endesa or any other company without penalty.
There is no minimum duration. If you are not convinced, you can switch whenever you want. On other words, there are no penalties if you decide to leave. There are only specific conditions for some promotions or temporary special offers. Don't worry, we will let you know if this is the case.
If you have another rate, other than the Tarifa One rate, you can switch to the Tarifa One rate without any problem. However, if you have already contracted the Tarifa One rate, you cannot unsubscribe in order to contract it again.
The Tariff One contract is for one year, automatically renewable.
Comprehensive Gas Maintenance
The Comprehensive Gas Maintenance service includes the initial diagnosis of your gas installation and heating system (boiler, hydraulic circuit and radiators) or domestic hot water and an annual inspection to anticipate any possible breakdowns that could increase your energy consumption. The Comprehensive Gas Service keeps your installation safe, extends your equipment's useful life and reduces breakdowns to 1/3 of what is usual. All this optimises your gas consumption and means you pay less on your gas bill.
Comprehensive Gas Maintenance facilitates compliance with current regulations on gas installations (Royal Decree 919/2006) and Thermal Installations in Buildings (R.D. 1027/2007) which requires you by law to make an inspection of the gas installation and equipment every two years.
Furthermore, whenever your heating or domestic hot water installation breaks down, you can contact the Comprehensive Gas Maintenance technical service and a technician will visit your home in less than 3 hours. Travel and the first 3 hours of labour are included in the service. In exceptional circumstances, when the repair time exceeds 3 hours or parts are required, we will provide a free quote in advance.
The maximum assistance to repair your gas installation is two interventions per year.
There is a freephone service for Comprehensive Gas Maintenance customers to request assistance, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year: 900 85 86 85.
Annual inspections mainly prevent possible gas leaks that would affect the safety of the property's inhabitants in addition to increasing energy consumption and bills.
These are preventive inspection visits to check the condition, safety and proper functioning of the gas installations, pursuant to the provisions of the legal and technical regulations.
The heating circuit consists of the pipes that drive hot water from the boiler to each of the radiators. The most common malfunctions affect: the pump responsible for circulation, the safety valve, the circuit pressure, the boiler's flue, the temperature probe that checks whether the water is hot or the radiator valves. The following actions are performed during the technical visit:
- Inspection of all the elements of the installation (keys, fastenings, pipes, nozzles, ventilation, etc.).
- Necessary adjustments to ensure the safety of the installation and minimise gas consumption, breakdowns or future equipment failures.
- Checking that there are no leaks in the gas installation.
- Checking and adjusting the operation of the equipment.
- Analysis of combustion and delivery of the result.
- Mandatory review by the RITE.
The service will be billed by Endesa X on a monthly or annual basis as agreed. If you have arranged several services for the same address, they will all appear broken down in a single Endesa X invoice. Furthermore, if you have arranged the supply of electricity or gas with Endesa Energía at the same address, the utility bill will be included in the same document as the energy bill and both amounts (services and energy) will be charged jointly to your account. The billing frequency in this case will be the frequency established in the energy contract.
The contract's duration is one year and it is automatically extended each year. However, both the Customer and Endesa may terminate the contract by means of written communication at least one month before the end date.
